…made of wood, worn down but gleaming – sturdy, dependable architectural marvels built to last.

Not so, this bridge between us.

Ugly, battered, charred. Ravaged by fire. A tenuous link.

It stands. As testament to our lunacy or resolve, we don’t know yet.
